Consultation
The consultation is an important step to better understand the root cause of our patient's problems in order to treat their symptoms most effectively.
Examination
The exam includes both western examination such as blood pressure, and traditional Chinese examination methods including tongue, and pulse examination.
Diagnosis
The result of the examination is correlated to physiological and pathological theory for a complete picture of our patient's health.
Treatment
Acupuncture treatment is performed using disposable needles inserted in specific points to harmonize and unblock the flow of energy through the meridians of the human body. Tingling, pressure or warmth may be felt, but little discomfort since the needles are so fine. Some are equivalent to the diameter of a human hair. A variety of techniques may be used to aid in effective treatment including electrical stimulation, moxibustion, and acupressure. The treatment usually takes 30 minutes to an hour.
Herbs
Traditional herbal remedies are formulated specifically for patients according to their individual needs. Acupuncture is a process which takes time and patience. When used in conjunction with Chinese herbs, the effects of acupuncture are dramatically increased. Our herbs are imported directly from China under the strictest government regulation.
